Prior to co-founding Benchmark Commercial, Tanner gained experience with Frederick Ross (now Newmark Grubb Knight Frank) for five years before moving on to be a partner at Rare Space for nearly eight years. During this time, Tanner represented commercial tenants and buyers in locating, negotiating and acquiring leases, and purchasing properties. His large base of returning clients and referrals is a testament to his work ethic and the reputation he’s built in the real estate industry in Denver.
Tanner consistently demonstrates loyalty and follow-through with his longtime clients and relationships, going above and beyond to help them achieve their goals. He is on the board of directors for CoreNet, where he chairs the Sponsorship Committee.
He serves as the Chairman for the Denver Advisory Board membership committee, and is a member of Strategic Connections International. Tanner is also a proud supporter of Denver Active 20/30 Children’s Foundation and their events. BMWcloseIn his free time, Tanner is often on wheels. The Eagle Scout can be found climbing steep mountain passes on his road and mountain bikes, racing around the track in his car or riding bikes with his kids. Needless to say, off-time is typically spent in the fast lane.
Jeff brings more than 20 years in commercial furniture and over 10 years as a real estate broker to his role as a Benchmark Commercial co-founder. Clients appreciate how this experience allows Jeff to quickly assess the space and layout needs of their businesses as well as his attention to detail and follow-up. Prior to Jeff’s five years at Rare Space, his previous experience includes work with Steelcase and OfficeScapes, where he was responsible for planning, ordering, delivery, installation, and overall project management and integration of the clients’ technology and business goals into each space through the use of furniture. Jeff has deep roots in the state of Colorado, beginning with his great-grandfather who was a miner in Central City, Colo. True to that Wild West heritage, Jeff and his wife, Colleen, spend a portion of their free time on horseback. Jeff is a University of Colorado graduate with a degree in Finance, and he currently serves on the board of the CU Boulder Denver Area Alumni Association. Jeff is also an Eagle Scout and an avid outdoorsman, so not only are you in good hands working with Benchmark Commercial, the co-founders are likewise great to have around should you ever find yourself lost in the wild.
Jason Bollhoefner has over 13 years of experience in the Denver Commercial Real Estate market and has successfully completed over 600 lease and sale/purchase transactions. Since the inception of his career, Jason has personally negotiated and completed leases totaling over 2.25 million square feet. His clients value his exceptional abilities as a tenacious negotiator who recognizes the key pressure points involved in every leasing transaction, for both the tenants and the landlords he represents. It is the merger of his understanding of tenants’ operational and economic needs with his knowledge of landlord requirements and sensitivities that provides his clients with the utmost value.
Jason has established himself as an expert relative to office needs in the Denver metro area. His hands-on experience over the tenure of his career, relative to the underwriting, acquisition, re-development, and disposition of commercial property provides valuable insight to prospective asset purchasers of commercial property.
Jason is involved with University of Colorado Real Estate Council, Colorado Chapter of NAIOP and Denver Metropolitan Commercial Association of Brokers and was a finalist for Top Small Office Broker in 2011.
Ellory joined the Benchmark team as an Associate Broker in January 2018. She graduated from Chapman University, where she received a B.A in Psychology and played NCAA Women’s Lacrosse.
Ellory is passionate about the Real Estate market in Denver and enthusiastic about helping out in the community she loves. Ellory has experience in Property Management and has worked for non-profits such as CASA and Adam’s Camp. She is a creative thinker who is personable, diligent and always ensures client satisfaction. Being a Denver native, she has enjoyed watching the city expand and grow.
In her free time you can find Ellory fly fishing, skiing, and watching one of her beloved Denver sports teams.
Joe Lengyel is the newest addition to the Benchmark team, joining as an Associate Broker in November of 2018. Joe’s background is in sales and finance. Joe has worked successfully across a variety of industries including recycling, restaurant group management, and most recently the entertainment industry.
Joe has an analytical and personable skill set which make him a great asset to both Benchmark and his clientele who seek value through unique, custom fit commercial spaces that accommodate their business growth and goals.
When Joe isn’t working hard for his clients, he can be found playing music with local Denver musicians, or catching the big fish out on the Platte River.
In March of 2019, Benchmark Commercial Real Estate expanded their staff with Sarah C. Ramirez. Her experience in multi-sized real estate firms as an administrator and marketing specialist is a welcomed addition. She brings to Benchmark skills in digital marketing, including her work with local businesses in the cities of Arvada and Westminster that helped to transition their internet business to their ‘brick and mortar’ locations. Sarah graduated from Regis University with an M.B.A. in Marketing.
Sarah graduated from Corrnell college with a DOUBLE major anthropology and fine arts. She enjoys creating pottery. Sarah enjoys creating business and event opportunities for local artists around the Denver metro area. To round out her creative side, Sarah also manages the digital media for a local non-profit art space in Arvada. As a Denver native and northwest area resident, Sarah has enjoyed watching Denver’s rapid growth and influx of new companies and industries. Sarah has a passion for marketing, as well as using marketing to connect with people.
